The Dallas Stars picked up a big victory on Saturday night as they defeated the Nashville Predators for the first time this season and for the first time in over a year to head into the Christmas break on a two-game winning streak.
Following the game, captain Jamie Benn met with the media and fantastically dropped some Smash Mouth references in one of his answers.
“It was a smash mouth of a victory and I thought our fans were the all-stars in overtime there.”
