If you were up to bat with your team down by one run in the ninth and the bases loaded were loaded with no outs, is there any chance you'd bunt?

The answer is probably something along the lines of "Hell no, I'm not stupid" and we understand why that would be the answer, but that doesn't mean bunting in that situation wouldn't work.

If you don't believe that bunting would work in that moment, check out this Japanese high school baseball game in which the game winning play was a bunt that scored not one, but two runs.

That's clearly a play that was practiced well in advance because the runner from third got such an incredible jump that the fielder had no chance at getting him out at the plate.

Furthermore, the player that scored the game-winning run from second base also didn't stop at third and just kept going as soon as he realized the throw was going to first.

The play at the plate was close, but close didn't cut it in this situation.
