The Joe Thornton speculation right now is wild, mostly because it's being reported that he could come to Toronto and play for the Leafs. Before he makes a decision on where he'll play in the NHL, though, Jumbo Joe will be playing with another team in Switzerland.
Absolutely epic way to announce your return! Thornton played for Davos during both the 2004/05 and 2012/13 lockout and he's back for the time being.
With the NHL season potentially starting in January, Jumbo Joe is just getting the legs warmed up so to speak as he prepares for yet another season in which he'll be trying to win the first Stanley Cup of his career. Where he'll play is still the question everyone wants the answer to.
