This Vegas Golden Knights vs. San Jose Sharks is getting HEATED.

The two clubs squared off on Sunday night in an action packed Game 3 at T-Mobile Arena. It was all Vegas from puck-drop, as trade deadline acquisition Mark Stone managed to tuck just 14 seconds into the game and never looked back. Stone finished with a hat-trick in the game but of all the highlights, a fight between Ryan Reaves and Evander Kane maybe have been the one fans came away remembering most.

With his team down 6-3 late in the third, Kane stepped up to the plate and scrapped Vegas’ toughest player. Reaves clearly got the better of Kane, but veteran Joe Thornton seemed to think the contrary while commenting on the fight after the game. In his eyes, Kane came out on top.

Props to Kane for holding his own but was Jumbo watching the same fight? Reaves clearly landed more punches and actually appeared to bring Kane to the ground. We’ll let you take a look for yourselves.

This wasn’t Joe’s only questionable comment of the night either. After directly making contact with Tomas Nosek’s head, Thornton claimed he “barely touched him”.

Jumbo Joe didn’t see a problem with his hit on Tomas Nosek

You might want to give both sequences a review.

Thornton will have a hearing for the hit on Monday afternoon and could very well be out of the lineup for Game 4. Do you agree with the 39-year-old’s comments?
