A number of athletes across the sports world are recognizable because of their facial hair and when they decide to shave they look like completely different people.
Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots had been rocking a beard all season long, but after winning the Super Bowl and being named Super Bowl MVP, it was time for the beard to go and who better to get rid of it than Ellen.
Edelman shaved his beard for a good cause, to raise money for the Boys and Girls club of Boston, and he looks very different now without the bushy beard.
We're sure it won't take long for the beard to grow back, especially if the Patriots make another playoff run, which they should with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Edelman still in the fold.
