Tuesday was a very big day for Juventus F.C. and their supporters as Real Madrid confirmed that they will to send Cristiano Ronaldo to the Serie A club for €100m.
With one of the greatest players to ever play the game set to join a new club for the first time in nearly a decade, past and present players were quick to welcome Ronaldo on board and to Italy’s top soccer league and fans flocked to the team store’s in Torino and online to grab some fresh gear. However, with all the demands online, the team’s online store crashed and was down for nearly nine hours.
Fans around the world spent most of their day waiting to get through to the team’s online store and if they didn’t give up they most likely have some new threads to show for it. Here’s a look at the first few items the Italian soccer club is already offering with Ronaldo’s name on it.
The men’s replica jersey is going for just over $160 Canadian, while the authentic ones are going for just under $225 CAD. As for the women’s jersey, those are going for roughly $145 CAD, while the kids jerseys are $130 CAD.
