All anyone in Toronto that's a Leaf fan wants to talk about is Mitch Marner and when his contract situation will be resolved. Nobody wants a repeat of the William Nylander scenario, but fans are worried that could be the case the longer this drags out.
Nobody knows how close or far the two sides are on a new contract, but what many do know, including Marner's former teammate Nazem Kadri, is that he's an incredible player and deserves to get paid.
Extremely high praise from Kadri to say the least, and we're sure Leafs fans agree that Marner deserves to get paid. How much, though, is the question that everyone is obsessing over.
Aside from his comments about Marner, Kadri also talked about his time in Toronto and his excitement for his future in Colorado.
