The Buds held a 4-1 lead in the second period before having it cut down by two after back-to-back goals from Sean Kuraly and Noel Acciari. Of course, the comeback brought back bad memories for Leaf fans, who witnessed their team blow a 4-1 lead against Boston in Game 7 of the 2013 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. One of the few remaining Leafs from the series, forward Nazem Kadri, insisted he wasn’t focused on the 2013 meltdown when the team had the same lead in today’s elimination game.

Kadri seemed to be the only one not thinking about the comeback, based on the reaction from Leafs nation on Twitter.

Even O-Dog seemed concerned.

Kadri recorded an assist in his first contest back after being suspended in Game 1 for a controversial hit on Bruins forward Tommy Wingels. He and his teammates will look to march their way back to Game 7 and pull off the unthinkable back at TD Garden.
