Trades are the business side of sports that nobody enjoys, from players, to management, to fans.  A trade is hard on everyone involved, even if you might be expecting to be dealt.

Alex Smith, for example, shouldn't have been extremely surprised that he was traded late Tuesday night to Washington as there have been trade rumours involving him ever since Kansas City drafted Patrick Mahomes last year.

Even though Smith might have been expecting to be traded, it's till a tough thing to go through considering he was such a big part of the Chiefs' success for so many years.

He'll get a fresh start in Washington, though, which likely means Kirk Cousins is on his way out, but he wasn't the player Washington sent back to Kansas City in this deal.  Kendall Fuller was the player the Chiefs got for Smith along with a third-round pick.

Social media had a ton of reactions to the blockbuster deal, but the social media reaction we want to focus on was Fuller's because he took to Twitter to find out if he was traded. Somehow, he discovered he wasn't traded before realizing he was actually traded.

From being unsure about being traded to for sure not being traded to realizing he was traded in just over an hour.  What a night indeed!

Eventually, Fuller collected his thoughts and expressed his excitement to be joining the Chiefs.

Kansas City fans should be very excited that they got Fuller, too, because he was one of the best corners in football last season, especially in the slot.
