April 23, 2019, is a big night for Toronto sports fans as the Maple Leafs and the Bruins battle it out in Game 7 of their first round series and the Raptors have a chance to eliminate the Orlando Magic.

However, it’s also a pretty big night for Blue Jays fans as Kevin Pillar returns to Toronto for the first time since he was traded to the San Francisco Giants. Leading up to the game the 30-year-old shared a special message with Jays fans, thanking them for all the support over the years.

Pillar’s former teammates were also excited to see the man known by Jays fans as Superman back in town and welcomed him back with open arms during batting practice.

In 62 at-bats over 18 games with the Giants, Pillar is batting .226 with four home runs and 13 RBI.
