There was lots of anticipation heading into UFC 229 with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor headlining. This is because the two seem to genuinely hate each other, even beyond all the standard hype techniques used in the UFC.

After the fight was over by way of Khabib tapping McGregor out, many may have thought the two would embrace in mutual respect. Quite the opposite happened, with Khabib hopping out of the octagon to attack McGregor’s team, while meanwhile his own team was causing melee inside the cage.

The bad blood is real, and it’s STILL not over.

On Sunday, over a week after the event, Khabib posted a photo of a mural someone had created. While his caption was simple and factual, “somewhere in Turkey”, the caption on the work itself read “Don’t talk too much” – a notion Khabib consistently referred to while talking to the extremely outspoken Irishman.

Khabib has been extremely active on social media since the momentous victory. He hasn’t been afraid to show off a little bit, but this is one of the first posts that actually includes an image of his opponent.

There’s no rematch set, but you can bet these two aren’t done punching each other in the face yet.
