At one point or another, we'd bet that every athlete's parents said to them at one point you're not allowed to play ball in the house, and as annoying as hearing that was, parents had a good reason for enforcing that rule.

Chances are if you play ball inside, something will break, and it might not happen the first time you play inside the house, but it will eventually happen and the consequences won't be worth it.

Usually before games, hockey players play soccer inside the arena, and ahead of their game against the Wild, the Kings upheld that longstanding tradition and broke something in the process.

The reaction from the players was pure gold to say the least.

Oscar Fantenberg did, however, somewhat apologize on Twitter after the incident.

The Kings weren't grounded in the slightest, though, for the damage they caused as they crushed the Wild 5-2 on home ice.
