NBA players routinely go up for dunks. Sure, there's a slight amount of danger involved in leaping up towards the basket, but never in a million years would you expect an uncontested dunk by a professional to turn out as horribly as Kris Dunn's did on Wednesday night.

During the Bulls game against the Warriors in Chicago on Wednesday night, Dunn found himself in an open lane on the fast break, and quickly finished the play with a dunk. Everything was alright up until the point where Dunn hung on to the rim for too long, which caused him to flip in the air and crash down violently onto the court.

As you no doubt saw, Dunn's head made a large impact on the floor, which not only injured the Bulls guard, it also made a mark on the floor.

According to the Bulls, Dunn chipped and dislocated both of his front teeth, but was cleared of any concussion like symptoms on Wednesday night.
