During the third quarter of the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Brooklyn Nets, Kyle Lowry took a hit to the face and needed to be tended to for a cut on his face.

Shouldn’t the NBA know by now that Kyle Lowry is as tough as they come? He came back with an eye bandage, and proceeded to dominate down the stretch of the game with one of his best performances of the season so far.

We have to say, Kyle Lowry with the eye bandage is giving us major Fred VanVleet vibes from the 2019 NBA Finals.

Keys to the game for opposing teams: No matter what, under any circumstances, do not cause a Raptors player to bleed from just under their eye. Put that right on the top of the defensive game-plan!

Lowry finished with a season-high 30 points (six three-pointers) to go with seven assists and five rebounds in the win over the Nets. The stats don’t fully do justice to the way he took over late in the game, either.
