Kyrie Irving has made a statement in the NBA this season as his request to leave the mighty Cleveland Cavaliers to start something new has resulted in awe-inspiring results. Despite losing fellow superstar newcomer Gordon Hayward in the first moments of the season, Kyrie has led the Celtics to a phenomenal season, where they currently sit ahead of former teammate LeBron James and the Cavs by a healthy 4.5 games.

Kyrie’s magnificence this year has had one rather embarrassing note attached to it, as it became known that Kyrie believed the earth to be flat. He is not the only celebrity to think so, and he has since gone back and basically said that this was all one big troll-job (was he trolling himself?) but nonetheless he is constantly reminded of this blunder. Luckily he’s had a fairly good sense of humour about it, as he even brought the idea into a commercial he starred in, not to mention when Jimmy Kimmel surprised him with a round earth.

The latest moment where it was brought back up may be the most hilarious yet, as Stephen Jackson can’t stop laughing as he crashes Kyrie’s press conference spinning a globe. Eventually Kyrie calls him out and Jackson asks for the globe to be signed.

Kyrie will probably never live this one down.
