Jamal Murray finished with a career-high 48 points on Monday night, and being just a bucket away from a 50-piece, he launched an otherwise meaningless 31-footer at the buzzer. Generally, racking up the score is a sports no-no, but in this context, it seems pretty reasonable.

Well, unless you were Kyrie Irving.

It doesn’t really seem like a thing to get mad about, but chucking the ball into the crowd is a funny enough reaction that we won’t hold it against Kyrie. His post-game quote on the kerfuffle might just make this all worth it.

Kyrie Irving, we might not agree with what you’re saying, but we like the way you’re saying it, good sir!
