Former Canadian baseball star Larry Walker doesn’t believe that he’ll be elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Tuesday night, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still feeling appreciation.
Known for his slugging with the Montreal Expos and Colorado Rockies, the former outfielder has caused a lot of stir as a possible nominee. On the day of the decision, Walker tweeted this out:
We aren’t sure if Walker has been told anything or not, but the tweet led to a lot more support from his fans. They turned to statistics and other arguments to make his case, but of course it’s not up to them.
