That’s five drug tests in ten weeks for Le’Veon Bell and he’s had enough of it, blasting the league on Twitter.
Although the NFL administers their drug tests among players randomly, Bell isn’t thrilled with being picked by the league yet again this week. Considering that his four previous tests have already turned up clean, and especially that nobody likes being pricked with needles, you can certainly sympathize.
If he gets picked again, Bell says he doesn’t plan to comply. The NFL suspends players if they don’t complete the test within four hours of notice, but one way or another, he isn’t pleased.
Bell has been suspended by the league twice before, once for DUI and marijuana possession charges in 2015 and another time for reportedly missing multiple drug tests in 2016. As for whether that has any correlation with his drug tests this season...
Bell has rushed for three touchdowns and 508 yards for the 3-7 Jets this season.
