The NBA Playoffs are going to have a weird feeling to them as we head into the second round. It will be missing LeBron James. For the first time in his career LeBron was eliminated in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Phoenix Suns took down the Los Angeles Lakers and will be facing the Denver Nuggets in the next round.

Devin Booker was spectacular in the series against the Lakers, and particularly in game six. Booker put up 47 points and 11 rebounds to send Los Angeles packing early. One of the NBA’s young stars also shot well over 50% from the field and hit on 8 of 10 from three.

It’s never easy to deal with being eliminated from the playoffs, especially for LeBron when it’s his first ever first round exit, but LeBron made sure to congratulate Booker following game six. The King gave Booker a signed jersey and also wrote another message on it.
“Continue to be great.”

There’s a whole lot of respect between The King and Devin Booker, and we love to see it. As for D Book, he’ll try to continue to be great against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets as their second round series gets started on Monday.
