With all the nonsense surrounding their father and his claims, it may be tempting to dismiss how good the kids in the Ball family really are – but we do not recommend that.
Lonzo Ball has been a star early in the NCAA tournament, scoring nearly a triple double last night with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists on 7-of-10 shooting. However, even with a line as impressive as that, his younger brother LaMelo may have outshined him.
In this highlight-reel play, three defenders try to deny a pass to Ball, before he gets away and then drills a deep three. (Side note: What are his teammates doing in this scenario?).
Seriously, what are his teammates doing. Maybe the team needed a three, but this is a pretty crazy play to run. Either way, it worked out and LaMelo added another ridiculous play to his resume.
