In case you missed it, Saturday’s overtime showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks was one of the best games of the season, with Luka Doncic turning in one of the best individual performances we’ve seen in a long time to knock off Giannis Antetokounmpo and the best team in the NBA.

In fact, we may never have seen another game quite like it. Doncic’s stat line of 36 points, 14 rebounds and 19 assists was a first in NBA history, and it only gets more impressive when you factor in his 50 percent shooting from the field (12-of-24) and just two turnovers.

His 19th and final assist of the game was an absolute gem, a between-the-legs dime to Maxi Kleber that fooled one of the best defenses in the league.

THIS PASS FROM LUKA. 😱

With that performance, Doncic recorded his league-leading 17th triple-double of the season. Does anyone else need a reminder that this kid is just 21 years old and in his second season in the league? He’ll be pretty good for a minute, we think.

His performance was drawing rave reviews, including from Giannis and their other NBA peers in the bubble. If you saw last night’s game, you’ll get it.
