Is there a goaltender in the NHL with a more relaxed mindset than Vegas Golden Knights netminder Marc-Andre Fleury?

A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Fleury has never been one to break under pressure. He can routinely be spotted with a smile from ear to ear while robbing his opponents on a nightly basis. His lighter side was on full display during Game 3 of the Western Conference Final when he produced one of the odder moments of the 2018 postseason. While a scrum broke out in his crease, the 33-year-old took it upon himself to tickle Blake Wheeler’s ear. Before the action kicks off in the Stanley Cup Final, Fleury explained why he followed through with it.

In case you missed it, here was the tickle seen around the world.

Oddly enough, Fleury’s tickle wasn’t even the weirdest thing hockey fans have witnessed in the playoffs. Everyone can agree that Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand’s numerous face-licks were of the weirdest actions performed against an opponent in hockey history.

Since there doesn't appear to be a penalty for licking...

Don’t expect Fleury to change his demeanor in the crease as he battles for his fourth career Stanley Cup. We’re sure he’ll find some new creative way to entertain fans when the action kicks off on Monday night.
