Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk has been having an impressive rookie campaign. Heading into Friday’s game against the Vancouver Canucks, the 19-year-old entered the game with 7 goals and 23 points through his first 36 NHL games. He also racked up 70 penalty minutes during that span, ranking him 2nd in the entire league in that category.

The Flames knew they were getting a stud in Tkachuk with the 6th overall pick in last summer’s NHL Entry Draft, but they probably weren’t expecting him to perform this well so quickly into his career. One of the youngster’s pre-game routines he likes to take part in his is juggling act, and it’s very impressive.

Every game.

Juggling alone is tough enough, but to be able to do it with your hockey stick and a puck makes it even better. We’re not even halfway through the season and he’s already become a fan favourite in Calgary in such little time.
