One day after the Leafs were on the wrong end of a goaltender interference call that allowed a goal to stand, the Oilers were on the wrong end of an even worse call.

In overtime against the Flames, Ryan Strome scored to win the game for Edmonton and goaltender interference wasn't even a question on the play, or so we thought.  The goal was reviewed and somehow, the goal was disallowed.

Edmonton won in the shootout, but that was the last thing anyone wanted to talk about after the game as goaltender interference was once again the talking point.

Perhaps the best reaction to the goalie interference call happened during the shootout, though, as Connor McDavid got fired up and sarcastically asked the refs to go upstairs and review his shootout goal.

That reaction was every Oilers fan in that moment.  They lay it all on the line and they just want the correct calls to be made, which is ultimately the main goal of video review.

In the last week, though, the reviews and the rules have seemingly failed the players.
