Montreal fans were shocked by how long it's expected to take Shea Weber to recover from surgery

Back in February, the Montreal Canadiens shut down Shea Weber for the second time this season due to a foot injury. Tuesday night, the team updated fans on Weber's status after surgery.

Shea Weber underwent surgery today. His recovery period is expected to be six months.

You read that correctly Habs fans, it's a six-month recovery for Weber who only appeared in 26 games this season for Montreal.

Six months is a long time (September to be exact) and when the team announced how long Weber's recovery would be, fans were shocked by the time length.
