The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the most entertaining teams in basketball right now. Their on-court play is obviously great, with stars like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard it’s bound to be, but it’s off the court that the real drama is unfolding.

Following the team’s disappointing 2nd round exit from the NBA Bubble, reports started to surface around the team’s chemistry, or lack thereof. Since then, there have also been reports that some players are unhappy with the preferential treatment of PG13 and Kawhi.

Overall, the Clippers will be an interesting team to watch this year, and that doesn’t even include the drama surrounding Montrezl Harrell.

Harrell decided to pack his bags (well, probably not) and move on to the Clips’ Staples Center foes, the Los Angeles Lakers. It was a move that rubbed some of the Clippers players the wrong way, but one Harrell felt he had to make after contract negotiations failed to develop is a satisfactory way with the Clippers.

On Monday, the Clippers instead signed wing Luke Kennard to a lucrative 4-year, $64 million deal.

The sharpshooter secured the bag. Not long after, Harrell shared his own snide tweet, not-so-slyly insinuating that the Clippers should have been a little more reasonable with his negotiations.

While it doesn’t explicitly mention the Clippers or Kennard, everyone knew exactly what this was about…

You can bet Harrell will be bringing it against the Clippers this year. He was already jawing with his former teammates during pre-season, and you can bet there will be more of the same when the two teams meet for the season opener on Tuesday.
