The CFL season is right around the corner, but like every other sport, the pre-season comes first and on Sunday, the Riders and Eskimos kicked off the pre-season in Edmonton.

The pre-season is a great time for players to get back in the swing of things before the regular season begins and in his first game of 2018, Riders wideout Naaman Roosevelt showed why he's one of the best receivers in the CFL with this fantastic catch.

The @CFL is back, and Naaman Roosevelt is in mid-season form! #JayAndDan

That's what we like to call climbing the ladder (and then getting pushed off the ladder and still holding on to the football).

Roosevelt has recorded two-straight 1000+ yard seasons and will look to make it a third in a row this season.  Saskatchewan dropped the pre-season opener, though, 35-12 the final.
