Super Troopers debuted in theatres more than 17 years ago and it’s still a hit to this day. If you haven’t watched it yet, we recommend doing so and not just because you’ll enjoy a couple of knee-slappers over 103 minutes, but because the sequel is on its way and is less than a month away from hitting theatres.

As a way to promote the new film that is set to be released on April 20, the Super Troopers 2 cast was in attendance at the Auto Club Speedway near Los Angeles to serve as the grand marshals for the NASCAR race and they did not disappoint.

The guys made their rounds to different posts before the race officially got underway and got to meet just about every single driver, including AJ Allmendinger who happens to be a huge fan of the original movie. Before the race started, his spotter Coleman Pressley asked if he got the chance to meet the cast and Allmendinger simply responded; “I did shake their hands. I asked Farba for a litre of Cola.” If you’re not familiar with the reference, you can check it out here in this NSFW scene

Allmendinger wasn’t the only driver who dropped a fantastic reference after meeting the cast as Ty Dillon had a pretty great tweet of his own after snapping a selfie with the crew.

The Super Troopers 2 crew consists of Trooper Arcot “Thorny” Ramathorn (Jay Chandrasekhar), Trooper Jeff Foster (Paul Soter), Trooper MacIntyre “Mac” Womack (Steve Lemme), Trooper Robert “Rabbit” Roto (Erik Stolhanske) and Trooper Rodney “Rod” Farva (Kevin Heffernan).
