Throughout the course of Steve Nash's legendary NBA career he managed to win two MVP awards, make it onto seven All-NBA teams and play in eight All-Star games. But the one thing that evaded him in his 19 years in the association was an NBA Championship ring.

He may have never received one as a player, but back in October the Golden State Warriors gave Nash a ring, thanking him for his role as a player consultant. Thursday, Nash posted a vlog on his YouTube account in which he talks about how much of an honour it was to receive the ring from the Dubs, but also how it wasn't quite the same as if he had won it as a player.

Now that is one epic box! An electric motor that allows the ring to spin around in the box? That's baller status. The ring itself is pretty darn cool, too, as it featured a number of cool features, including 83 pave stones to represent the total amount of wins the team accumulated during the year.

Back in 2015 the Warriors hired Nash as a part-time Player Development consultant. During his time with the team he served as an advisor to the likes of Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.

It's a shame that Nash never even got the chance to play in the NBA Finals, as he was easily one of the most talented players of his generation. But that's not how team sports work, and when Nash was challenging with the Suns, the Spurs and Lakers weren't exactly pushovers.

So despite Nash having mixed emotions about his Warriors ring, we're excited to finally see him sporting one on his finger.
