There’s something about Buffalo that just brings something out of Nazem Kadri.

The 29-year-old served as a fierce division rival during his tenure with the Leafs for 10 seasons and it became clear on Tuesday night that his feelings towards the Sabres haven’t changed. Kadri found himself jawing off (surprise, surprise) with defenceman Brandon Montour after the whistle and chose some harsh, harsh words as the two exchanged verbal jabs.

He summed up how he felt about his opponent with some NSFW language. There are some swear words so keep your volume down!

Ouch Naz, ouch!

Kadri’s a player who’s proven he’s also fully capable of walking the walk. He finished the game with a goal and an assist in 15:19 minutes of ice, increasing his point total to 34 on the season. Colorado ended up dominating Buffalo with a 6-1 win.

Let’s flash back to two seasons ago, when Kadri made arguably his most memorable trip to the Keybank Center. This altercation with Rasmus Ristolainen will go down as one of his funnier career moments when it’s all said and done:

What a guy.
