For about 6 days, it felt like the entire sports world was on Kawhi watch and now that heβs finally made his decision, we can see that feeling was correct.
Immediately after Kawhi decided to sign with the Clippers (And they traded for Paul George), NBA fans and media were going wild. Then, as the day went on, we saw more and more reaction from professional athletes across North America. In the NHL and NBA, we saw a fair bit of reaction.
In the NHL, there are obviously a lot of Canadians, so they seemed a little more upset. In the NBA, people are just excited about all the drama.
Overall, it made for some pretty great tweets.
