Welcome to Canada, Anthony Kay.

On Sunday, the left-handed pitcher was shipped to the Blue Jays along with right-handed pitched Simeon Woods Richardson from the New York Mets in exchange for ace Marcus Stroman. Born in Stony Brook, New York, Kay is preparing to make the move North and is looking for a little help settling into his new home. So, what better way to have some hard-hitting questions answered than by hitting Twitter?

First, Kay simply asked for some help. Then, he inevitably brought up hockey. And before everyone knew it, Kay was dropping jokes about bags of milk and poutine. Come to think of it, bags of milk and the concept of poutine are a bit odd…

Fans were having too much fun with the tweets, including Digital SportsCentre’s very own Marissa Roberto and… Kay.

Eventually, Woods Richardson also hopped on board and asked for some help as well.

Well Mr. Kay, welcome to Canada. Hope you enjoy the bagged milk, cheese curds, and friendly people. Oh- and munching maple syrup is wayyyyyy nicer than corn syrup. Just sayin.
