The Minnesota Vikings and their Love Boat were one of the stories of the decade in the early 2000s and at the time that everything unfolded, most people involved were pretty reserved when discussing the events.

Not anymore.

Barstool Sports has done a documentary about the Love boat and they have commentary throughout the story from someone who was directly involved, Fred Smoot, helped better explain the events of that fateful night on Lake Minnetonka.

We’re not going to post the whole video, because things can get pretty graphic in the story telling, but you can watch the full video here.

Here’s a short clip:

It’s always interesting to hear from athletes after they’ve retired from their respective leagues, because they seem to be less interested in keeping the truth away from the public. We couldn’t be more thankful for it either, because we wouldn’t hear some of the best stories from the sports world we’ve ever heard.

For example, if not for a change of heart, who knows if we would have ever known about Doc Ellis’ perfect game on LSD.

We all know these players are playing guilty anyways, right Torts?

#Torts wants his players to go out and have a good time in Vegas 😂
