The weekend is here and the Super Bowl is Sunday, which makes the weekend that much more exciting for fans, obviously the players and even the mascots.

The Eagles and Patriots are in the big game and so are their mascots, but until next week none of them will be featured in the BarDown Mascot Power Rankings.  There is one NFL mascot, though, in this week's edition along with NBA mascots, too.

Last week, we did an NHL All-Star edition of the rankings, but this week we're going back to our roots and including mascots from around the sports world based on what they did this past week.

That doesn't mean, though, that there won't be NHL mascots in the top ten, but in order to see how many there will be, you'll have to start from ten.  Enjoy!

10. Harry The Hawk, Atlanta Hawks (Up 400 spots)

It's not often a mascot gets called out and challenged by one of the best fighters in the world and it's even rarer for a mascot to accept the challenge, but Harry The Hawk didn't hesitate to accept Tyron Woodley's challenge.

9. The Coyote, San Antonio Spurs (Up 112 spots)

We loved the Coyote's dance moves, but apparently this security guard wasn't impressed and he's probably the only person in the world not impressed by the dancing of the Coyote.

8. NJ Devil, New Jersey Devils (Down 6 spots)

NJ Devil dropped a little in the top ten, but the Devils' mascot is consistently in the top ten and it's only a matter of time before the Devil moves up again.

7. Stormy, Carolina Hurricanes (Up 88 spots)

As we mentioned before, the NHL All-Star game was this past weekend and one of the standouts from the mascot game was Stormy.  Sure, we could credit the goal-scorers, but Stormy set up a few goals and did the dirty work on the OT winner.

6. Carlton The Bear, Toronto Maple Leafs (Up 48 spots)

Carlton The Bear has clearly been getting some tips from Frederik Andersen and he showed off for everyone during the mascot game.

That said, Carlton didn't get much help from his defenders, but the Leafs' mascot did the best it could.

5. Viktor The Viking, Minnesota Vikings (Up 55 spots)

The one NFL mascot in the top ten this week is Viktor because the Vikings' mascot made Super Bowl week that much better for everyone involved in a variety of didn't ways.

4. Gnash, Nashville Predators (Down 3 spots)

It's hard to stay on top when everyone is gunning for the top spot, but the fact that Gnash is still in the top five is a testament to the Predators' mascot's incredible social media presence.

3. Benny The Bull, Chicago Bulls (Up 28 spots)

One of the greatest mascots in the world celebrated a birthday this past week and Benny celebrated in style with Robin Lopez and some other mascots.

2. Bailey, Los Angeles Kings (Up 1 spot)

We're not crying, you are.  That is all.

1. Chance, Vegas Golden Knights (Up 5 spots)

A picture is worth a thousand words and this picture says number one mascot of the week.
