The National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) is entering its third season, and the league its getting a makeover in the jersey department.

The league consists of four teams: the Boston Pride, the Buffalo Beauts, the Connecticut Whale and the Metro Riveters.

All four are great, but if we had to pick one, it would have to be the Whale. Let’s see what Twitter thinks:

Opening night gets going on October 28th when the Pride visit the Riveters followed by the Beauts traveling to Connecticut to face the Whale.

The Beauts won the Isobel Cup last season as the league champion.

The NWHL was the first professional women’s hockey league in North America. Since its inception, the Canadian Women’s Hockey League has officially became the second pro women’s league with four teams in Canada (the Calgary Inferno, Les Canadiennes, the Markham Thunder and the Toronto Furies), two Chinese teams (the Kunlun Red Star WIH and the Vanke Rays) and one American team (the Boston Blades).
