Chad Johnson, aka Ochocinco, is one of the most enigmatic players in NFL history. He was never afraid to say what was on his mind, and even after his NFL career, he’s continued to do so on twitter. Thanks to his transparency on Twitter, it appears as though Ochocinco might be making a return to football, but this time as a kicker.

Believe it or not, Ochocinco does have some experience kicking in the NFL. In the 2009 preseason with the Cincinnati Bengals, he performed a kickoff and scored an extra point.

More impressively than all of that, in late December, Ochocinco posted a video of himself drilling a 60-yard field goal.

He clearly has the leg, but would he be able to get it done consistently in the XFL? Keep in mind that XFL kicking rules are a little different. There are no extra points, and kickoffs will take place from further back than in the NFL. A big leg will be a must.

Ochocinco will be one of the biggest names in the XFL if his try out goes well. He’s already hoping that some XFL success might bring some NFL interest his way.
