Oklahoma City Thunder fans made it very clear that Kevin Durant was no longer welcome in town after he decided to leave the Thunder for the Golden State Warriors, but it probably doesn’t bug him as much anymore now that he has his NBA championship ring.
Shortly after capturing his first NBA title, Sports Illustrated revealed that the 2017 NBA Finals MVP will grace the upcoming issue.
Subscribers have started to receive their recent issue of SI in the mail, and you can bet that Oklahoma City residents were not too pleased to receive this issue in the mail.
Even the city took a shot at Durant while they were promoting their recycling initiative on their official Instagram story.
Durant will probably never even come across the city’s Instagram story, but he probably doesn’t care anyways since he now has more championships than the Thunder.
