Oskar Lindblom continues to make progress after overcoming his battle with bone cancer. On Sunday, he joined the Philadelphia Flyers for his first practice back with the team, and there were stick taps all around to welcome Lindblom back to the ice.

The Flyers havenโ€™t ruled Lindblom out for the rest of the playoffs, if he can get up to game speed. It would certainly be special if he could make it back at some point, but just to see him back out there with the team is already impressive enough. The Flyers are currently tied 1-1 with the Montreal Canadiens in the first round.

There has been an outpouring of support from all over the hockey world as Lindblom underwent chemotherapy during the season, and he signed a three-year contract extension with the Flyers shortly before the NHLโ€™s Return to Play.

Whether or not he makes it back this season, everything is looking up for Lindblom, and we canโ€™t wait to see what the future holds in store for him.
