Since the Flyers announced the devastating news of Oskar Lindblon’s recent bone cancer diagnosis, support has come from all corners of the hockey world.

That includes the SHL team with which the Swedish forward began his playing career, Brynäs IF. The team revealed special stickers they’ll wear all season reading "OL96, we fight with you" in Swedish, and before their most recent game, the entire stadium gave an extended standing ovation in support of Lindblom.

It’s heartwarming to see the way that the community has rallied around Lindblom. The talented young forward is expected to miss the rest of the season while he undergoes treatment, but it’s clear that everyone has his back.

Back in Philadelphia, the Flyers have laid these signs over every seat at Wells Fargo Center for their game against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night.
