Hitting 500 career games in the NHL is no easy feat, especially as a goalie.

Last year Sergei Bobrovsky joined the list of goalies to play 500 games or more, but the Florida Panthers weren’t able to celebrate his accomplishment due to the pandemic. So, they made up for it by putting together a special night for the two-time Vezina Trophy winner on Saturday, and it started well before warm-ups.

All the Panthers players rocked Bob 72 shirts before they hit the ice for warm-ups, where they wore special jerseys that featured their last names written in the Cyrillic alphabet.

Before puck drop, the team honoured Bobrovsky with a special video tribute showcasing his time in the NHL, and they topped it all off with some gifts from the players and the team.

The gifts were all pretty awesome, but nothing comes close to their safari in Tanzania.

Congratulations on the milestone, Officer Bobrovsky!
