Thanks to the current NHL All-Star game format, a number of players that are more than deserving of being named All-Stars are going to be snubbed each and every year.

This time around, the biggest snub was undoubtedly Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Voracek leads the league in assists and he's just 30 points away from tying his career high of 81 points, yet he wasn't selected to be part of the loaded Metropolitan Division's All-Star team which is quite absurd.

We, along with fans and media members, aren't the only ones that think it's crazy Voracek wasn't selected.  After the rosters were revealed Wednesday, David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins shared how surprised he was that the Flyers' forward didn't make the cut.

Unfortunately we don't have the answer for Pastrnak, but there's a lot of time from now until All-Star weekend and a lot can still happen, like players choosing not to participate, for example, that could lead to Voracek being included.

#SidneyCrosby does not expect to be selected to his third ASG later this month. Thoughts? 🤔
