We all know that sports fans can be brutal with their intense loyalty, and there’s nowhere it comes out more when confronted with opposing fans in the confines of home turf. Even though fans will visit each other’s stadiums all the time, it takes an extra brave fan to enter into certain buildings.
New Era Field in Buffalo, the “Black Hole” that is Oakland’s home, Lincoln Financial Field in the City of Brotherly Love… these are some of the hardest stadiums to cheer for the away team. All those cities may live in the shadow of Boston sports fandom.
Across any league, Boston-area sports fans are known for being pretty ruthless. Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend, Brittany Matthews, got a first-hand taste of that when she visited Foxborough to cheer on the Chiefs at Gillette Stadium.

From that point on, it certainly appears like Matthews was able to enjoy the game. Her tweets became very positive as the Chiefs began to take over the game, and the night ended pretty well for her as well.
