It didn’t take Winnipeg Jets fans very long to fall in love with Patrik Laine.

From the moment he was selected second overall by the Jets in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, the Tampere, Finland native has been a huge hit in Winnipeg and his play on the ice and personality away from it certainly helps his cause.

On Friday night, the 19-year-old picked up his 29th goal of the season in the Jets’ 4-0 road victory over the St. Louis Blues and he gave the most honest answer of all-time during his intermission interview with Dennis Beyak.

Beyak’s original question to Laine was, “How much room did you see on the far side on your goal?” Being the honest person that he is, Laine told it like it is and answered as honestly as possible.

Through his first 133 NHL games the Jets’ sniper has 64 goals to go with 48 points for 112 points and leads the team in goals with 29.
