Looking back now, Paul George’s stint in Oklahoma City was a pretty short one, wasn’t it? He played just two years as Russell Westbrook’s running mate, and now Westbrook is with James Harden in Houston while PG joined Kawhi Leonard with the Clippers.

Still, there’s a lot of love there. George turned in a brilliant season for the Thunder last year, even drawing some faint MVP consideration, and in his return to OKC on Sunday, the fans made sure to show their appreciation.

Even though George ultimately forced his way to the Clippers, it looks like there’s no beef between him and the fans. That’s always nice to see, and George has been vocal about his gratefulness towards the organization.

The home crowd in Oklahoma City got to see their team emerge victorious against George — the Thunder beat the Clippers in a 118-112 win. George was held to just 18 points on 17 shots, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — Canadian! — tied his career-high, set just days ago, of 32 points.

@shai puts up 32 as the @okcthunder win their 4th straight!
