As incredible as Sidney Crosby's ability is on the ice, he's an even better person off of the ice.

Tuesday night, the Winnipeg Jets host the Penguins and before the game, Jets head coach Paul Maurice was asked about Crosby and if he had a memorable story about him.

Maurice went on to tell a story about the heartwarming act of kindness Crosby displayed towards his daughter after the Penguins suffered a blowout loss in Winnipeg.

Going down as one of the greatest players of all-time is an incredible career accomplishment that Crosby has already achieved, but the have a lasting impact are acts of kindness like that.

Crosby is a better person than a hockey player and that's saying a lot.
