With the Hockey Fights cancer initiative taking place this month, NHL teams have showed their kindness and dignity by making the dreams come true for young, sick, hockey fans.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Make-A-Wish foundation have teamed up to give five young boys a one-day contract with the team.

Joe, Colton, Raymond, Logan, Jason were all brought in to bring a little extra depth to the club.

The five boys ate breakfast with the club insider their locker room, and even got to lace up the skates at the Pens practice.

It’s always wonderful to see hockey teams give back and bring smiles to the faces of those that aren’t as fortunate health wise.

The Penguins welcome the Canucks to the PPG Paints Arena on Wednesday night.
