There were two things that there were no shortage of in the Bruins and Pens game: goals and rough stuff.
The Bruins brought out their signature “big, bad, Bruins hockey” as they smacked the Penguins around by a final score of 8-4.
During the game, the two teams with the black and yellow coloured uniforms let their grievances air with a couple encounters. While most scrums feature your typical grinders and checking forwards, this particular mix-up feature none other than Phil Kessel and Zdeno Chara, as well as Kris Letang and Evgeni Malkin.
But we’re just here for the exchange between Chara and Kessel.
Oh Phil, you’re so lucky Big Z didn’t rag doll you. It appears Chara "accidentally on purpose" gave Kessel a little jab in the face. We have to give Phil some credit for going at a guy that is nine inches taller than him. The internet came with jokes following the mini beef.
Remember the first time Kessel challenged someone way larger than him? Later on in the game, Chara duked it out with 6-foot-7 defenceman Jamie Oleksiak.
