The Indianapolis Colts season is over. It was a close game going right down to the end, but the Colts fell in their wild card game against the Buffalo Bills in a 27-24 finish.

Now as the Colts look forward to the offseason, one of the questions facing the team is what happens with Philip Rivers. Retirement is a possibility for the 39-year-old and 14-year NFL veteran.

With the question of retirement looming, Rivers was emotional talking about the bond and camaraderie that he developed with this team in his post-game press conference immediately following the Bills loss.

Rivers only played one season with the Colts, joining the team after 16 years with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. He did touch on the topic of retirement, but it sounds like he’s undecided either way.
