The past four seasons have not been kind to the Philadelphia Phillies. Dating back to the 2014 season, the Phillies have found themselves in the basement of the NL East, having lost 351 games, and after watching this terrible display of baserunning from their game on Sunday, it's easy to see why.

In the bottom of the fifth inning with the bases loaded and no outs, Phillies outfielder Nick Williams hit a lazy fly ball into centrefield.  Thinking that Freddy Galvis would tag up, Odubel Herrera ran towards third base, only to realize that Galvis had stayed put, giving the Mets an easy second out.

All Herrera would have had to do there was look up before he ran, as it was pretty clear that Galvis was not going to make a run for home. The Phillies would go on to lose 6-2.
