Bruce Willis is a certified legend. The guy has acted in Hollywood-changing movies like The Sixth Sense and Pulp Fiction, while perhaps best known for his role as John McClane in the cult favourite Die Hard series.

He has nothing to prove to anyone, and he’s beloved by most action movie fans. Saying that, Philly faithfuls are sometimes are hard bunch to please. Willis found that out the hard way when he stepped up to the mound (well, almost) to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

They’re booing Bruce?!

By the way, in case you’re wondering, he’s 64 years old. It wasn’t even that bad of a pitch (looking at you 50 Cent), it just wasn’t perfect. Even big leaguers skip it from time to time!

Willis took it in stride, essentially shrugging off the hecklers. While it’s been theorized that they may be saying “Bruce”, we’re thinking that’s an unlikely theory.
